Swiftlet Linx is a combination of a web browser, a parser that can parse HTML documents, extract links, metatags etc., and a database management system. Integration of these three functions into a single software suite makes it an ideal tool for maintaining link databases. The browser is an instance of the Microsoft® Webbrowser component that comes with Microsoft® Internet Explorer and the database system is Microsoft® Jet database, which is the same database engine used in Microsoft® Access. HTML parsing is done using MS HTML component. will run on any system with Win 9X, ME, 2000 or XP installed with Internet Explorer.
